Hello.
My name is Bonnie Young
I'm twenty three and based in the West Midlands, UK. I've recently completed a BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication at the University of Wolverhampton and I've created bybonnie.com for the purpose of being an easily accessable digital portfolio to showcase some of the works I have undertaken over the past few years and as an example of my abilities as a designer. My objective is to gain more experience with clients and in a working environment, whilst continuing to learn & improve upon the skills I have gained during my time in education.

Along with my university studies, since 2007 I have run my own business; www.cutecultureclothing.co.uk, designing and creating my own Japanese-inspired clothing and accessories (as Japan is a major influence of mine) for which I was awarded a Princes Trust loan and accepted onto my universities SPEED (Student Placements for Entrepreneurs in EDucation) project. Doing this enabled me to put into practice my learned skills, be creative with my ideas and manage my time.

I'm a quick and keen learner, a motivated, hard worker and full of creativity and ambition. I am somewhat of a perfectionist and am always of the opinion that my work could be improved somehow, even when deemed finished. I spend a lot of time trawling the web looking for inspiration, which I like to share via 'tweets' on the home page of this site. This should help to give you some idea of the sorts of work I admire and am inspired by, which I therefore transfer into my own personal style.
